I was married to Dave Shear for many years. We had three girls who have given us 8 grandchildren.

• Our youngest lives next door to me in South Carolina with her husband and two boys, Lee 10 and Logan 8.
• Linda, the middle one, is in Chillicothe, Ohio with her husband and two boys, Andrew 8 and Kevin 2.
• Kathi, our oldest, lives in Raleigh NC with her husband and four kids, Steven 9, Brian 7, Keven 4, and Jennifer 3.

I have been married to Gene Sowell since 1988, and live in South Carolina.

I work at Springs Mortgage Corporation as servicing supervisor. I have worked with most of these people for over 20 years. Several of us worked together at First Federal Savings and Loan. When three of them started SMC in 1986, they asked me to come.

Life is hectic, but very nice.
